- LONG LIFE: SFC-UW 100 comes with a long cartridge life of 25,000 liters or up to 6 months depending on usage and water quality. Use a low to medium flow rate for best results.
- FOR BEST RESULTS: Reverse flush the cartridge under the flow of constant water for 3-5 minutes, every 60 days. The cleansing agents inside the filter need to be flushed regularly for optimum performance.

Size has changed
My shower hasn’t been functioning properly after this replacement but could understand the reason only recently when I tried to change another filter. While comparing the old filter with the new one, realised the diameyer of the new piece is slightly bigger then the old one, due to which water delivery is hindered.

Not useful
Worst product. Got stuck while installing in the shower and broke.Changing the cartridge has always been painful and this time it broke. Throwing out the entire shower set along with the stuck cartridge

Don’t waster your money
After two weeks of usage this is the situation of the cartridge, the plumber asked me to replace this one as well, this is the third time am changing the cartridge in the last one month. There are better water filter options available for a reasonable price. Spending so much on this cartridge every two or three weeks is not fair and dont waste your money on this.

Doesn’t change the TDS levels only softens the hard water
Got call from customer care that it doesn’t change the TDS levels of the filtered water only softens the water… I am not sure how it’s going to help. We did the test as well as given on the website. Can’t find much difference.

It actually works
Guys we are having very hard water at home & due to that we were facing issues like hair loss, skin problems n all … But now after using this filter our all issues have gone…my hair loss minimal now … Go for it if you are facing the same problem

Definitely work but don’t work long enough
I have been using these folders for more than 5 years now and over the years the quality seems to be come down as they do soften the water in the first month but after that start to notice a reduction on quality of water.When I started using these back in 2017 they used to last for good 3 months + . So my verdict is product still works but it just does not work as long as used to.

First Replacement Cartridge-Bad Experience
Replaced first cartridge but experience is not good. Replaced this new cartridge on 1st June 2024 but strip showing fully red now in August 10. Where as company is claiming that cartridge will lasts for 6 months. Not worthy to buy replacement cartridge.

Not helpful for hairfall
I don’t see any other difference apart from the soap lathering well. It has no effect on my hair fall but it has made my scalp dandruffy and itchier.I do not know but it may differ from person to person. But for me it has made no difference.

Does not work, Tested with Hardness Testing Kit
I tested the water hardness from the shower installed with this filter using a 10ml sample with Aquasol testing kit.Unsurprisingly, it did not work.Reading on the Aquasol Water Hardness testing kit was 150 mg/l CaCao3 which shows the presence of hardness

Printer business model – cartridge price increase every 3 months. from 500 to 800 now.
expensive cartridge. buy a filter whose cartridge is cheap to replace , for most it is 350-500 a piece for an year. cleo has adopted printer business model to trap buyer and charge high on cartridges.quality is ok, but i am ditching them for malpractice and lack of ethics.

Irregular distribution at bottom center
I have recently ordered 2 replacement cartridge, both of them are having kind of a irregular net distribution at the bottom center. Should I consider it to be tampered or defective as the original or say the initial or first purchase with the cover doesn’t have such tampered hole in them.

Top filter on the market
WaterScience hard water filter is one of the best filters available from an Indian company in the market. This does not reduce TDS but softness hard-water and additionally does filtration to some extent. The company listens to its customers, rectifies design flaws in iterations, and provides excellent support. Goes to show that they care for the product and value feedback.My only complaint is that they tend to be slightly costly. They should have more lightning deals.

4th Cartridge Standard vs Hard Water
I have bought 2 filter set which by default came with Standard cartridges and then later bought 2 replacement filters both were Hard Water cartridges.The Standard filters does the job, water flow is good, comes for nearly 6 months.But ours being bore water the TDS is very high, so I went ahead with the Hard water cartridge. I can feel the water difference between the filters. The old filter got rusted within 4 months of usage and now the new model has removed the metal part with plastic, but the water flow is totally slow. To fill a 15L bucket, it takes nearly 10 minutes.The product recommendation is not to have faster water flow, but this flow rate is too bad, that I have to remove the cartridge every 2-3 days, do a REVERSE flow and then fix it, even then the flow rate is not as good as Standard Cartridge.To remove hard water, this is something I have to live with.

Wonderful product. Does what it just says so
I have been using this product for almost two years. I clearly see a difference in the quality of water. The chlorine is filtered out, and the water tastes more natural. In the instances where the tap water gets a little murky, when I use the filter the water comes out clean.A must use product in my opinion.

Does it really work.. big question
Not sure if this is effective or not.. so I always have this question but have been using this product but for almost 4 yrs now . Recently I got the new cartridge which comes with this new sticker installed. As per my understanding this indicates the usage, but after installation when i turned the tap fir the first time, for 1/4 of the bucket filled this already turned red.. very surprised and not sure if it is supposed to behave this way or it is defective..

Third time lucky?
Buying this cartridge for the third time. Hair fall reduces in the first month of usage but gradually increases as the metal mesh used in the product gets rusted and hair fall increases considerably. As there was a design change from metal to plastic at the top and bottom buying this product with a hope it lasts longer this time. Will update after a month of usage. Did not find any flow issues as reported by some with the 2 filters used. Only issue is rusting.

Hot water usage makes its life as 1 month
If used with hot water its life become one month only.I am using with hot and cold water tape.Every month cartridge need to be changed.

Costly and disappointing
I am writing this review after using it for 6+ months. Product design and fitting is good. It does the ok job of filtering but disappointing part is filter wont last for more than 2 months. Even new cartirage won’t last for more than 2 month, they are costly and considering cartirage life it feels even more costly (approx 900 per piece). I recommend to evaluate other options before going for it.

Too much costly
Cartridge lasts in my bathroom, only upto 3 months at the most. That too after repeated backwashing after every 3 days. I am using high hardness model with CLEO tap filter. As our bathroom water supply is a mix of borewell and fresh water. Waterscience should work on making their products “Value for money” product. Too expensive.

Good to have in your shower
You should try once ,if your facing an issue with hairfall due to hard water, i am using this from last 6-8months and result are good , u can reduce of hairfall by 70-80% by using this

Problem with hot water
As they mentioned “hot water will damage this one and open cold water first and open hot water”. I don’t think anyone gonna use hot water like that. I used to take hot waterin one bucket or half of the bucket then open cold water to make it same

The washer does not fit
Washer quality is very bad , hence the filter does not fit well in the slit . Hence can’t close the filter housing properly .I had to take out old washer from discarded filter and refit. Hell of problem.There is quality reduction with increase in cost . Reducing quality and increasing price is not acceptable to consumer . Not expected from manufacturer.
