- Indigo powder is 100% natural and pure. There are no added chemicals, dyes, or perfumes. This indigo powder is safe for use on all kinds of hair
- Indigo can be applied in one step or two step process to get different tones such as Black, Brown, dark brown etc. It gives natural and attractive color to hair without any chemicals. Indigo dispels heat and have a soothing effect and revitalizes the hair.
- Directions: ✅ For Black tones, use 100% henna first and then second step of indigo at 100% (two step). . ✅ For reddish brown, use a 75% henna and 25% indigo mix. . ✅ For brown tones, use a 50% indigo and 50% henna mix. . ✅ For dark brown tones, use a 75% indigo and 25% henna mix.
- First, apply henna paste to your hair to create a rich red base. In the second step, apply indigo over the freshly hennaed and washed hair to create the deep black color.

Amazing and it worked out!!

So far the best I have found
Im allergic to hair dyes and I have been looking for an alternative for quite sometime. So far this has worked best for me. I tried with godrej nupur mehendi as I had that at home. Applied 1 coat mehendi and let it dry for 1 hour, washed and applied indigo paste and left it for 1 hour. The results were too good. It covered almost 95% of the hair with a natural black. Ill try mixing both together next time and its supposed to give dark brown, lets see.

Headache side effect
My mother used this product twice in 2 months and both time she got severe headache that lasted 2 -3 days. Previously she was using some other brand indigo powder without any effects. So, I wentThrough and checked other reviews, many other people have also shared this side effect of headache. Unfortunately it does not even impart black colour effectively. Brand should consider investigating this issue.

Good Hair Colour rather than using chemicals
Hey Guys ,All those people who are thinking of using this for the first time , you really need to have a good patience level and to use it as an alternative to chemicals hair colour.It’s better to follow 2 step process to get maximum results to get effective results.Always apply it only on henna treated hair and leave it on for 1 hour and don’t use any shampoo to wash your hair on the day of application (don’t forget to cover your hair with a plastic cover or shower cap ).This process takes more time than expected because it’s natural and not a chemical colour , but your effort is completely worth it , I usually don’t write reviews , but I wanted to share my view and many people can take the benefit as same as I experienced !

It works!
I’m in my mid-thirties. I have 70 percent white hair on the sides. Had used a chemical dye only 3-4 times because they contain harmful chemicals. Initially, when the greying of my hair had started, they were partially white. But now, they’re white from root to tip.Henna was not an option anymore as the hair used to turn orange and I looked like a clown after applying henna. I had accepted the white hair and hadn’t tried anything for a few years because I was hell bent on not using dyes having harmful chemicals.Randomly came across Authentic Kerala video about Indigo. Thought of giving it a try as there was nothing to lose. Ordered from Attar Ayurveda looking at Amazon reviews.YouTube video had mentioned applying Henna and Indigo in a 2-step process for 3 consecutive days. After 2 days, I had given up hopes as the color was same as Henna. I was furious as I hated the clown look I got. Was worried that I’ll have to use a dye again to hide the orange hair. Applied Henna and Indigo again on the 3rd day with zero hopes.To my surprise, I could see 70 percent of my white hair turning black and remaining 30 having a deep dark brown. I’m so happy to have found a natural solution as it’s depressing to live with so many white hair when you’re in mid-thirties.Thank you Attar Ayurveda for a good product. Thank you Leah from Authentic Kerala for the important instruction of applying it for 3 days back-to-back.I will update this review based on longevity, future ease of use etc.

No more damage from Chemical hair dyes
I have been using the Attar Ayurveda natural Indigo powder since a very long time and I have never been disappointed with its quality.I use it the next day of applying henna.Just make sure you store it in airtight conditions. To use it, soak it in glass container for 15 min while keeping it covered and apply to your hair, cover your head with plastic bag for maximum benefits.It is very usefull for people using chemical hairdyes. Works like magic and gives a natural black colour to your greys

Best Hair Colour without Chemicals
To all those who are thinking about using this for the first time, do go ahead with this natural alternative to chemical hair colors. The process of two steps has to be followed to get the maximum effectiveness and some additional steps like (covering the hair with plastic sheet like those which come for fruit covers while leaving it for 45 mins to prevent from drying) and not using shampoo during the wash.This has helped me in providing benefits like healing the dandruff problems and itching issues which was mainly occurring due to the chemical hair colors used.Of course this process takes more time when compared with chemical colors, but its completely worth it.I’m not a guy who writes many reviews. But I wanted to write this one to make sure many people benefit from what I experienced!

Just go for it
Don’t use it in one step. You won’t get results. Go for two step process one with henna. Shampoo after 24 hrs. Then again with indigo powder. Don’t shampoo the same day. Wash with water. Then apply oil in the night and shampoo the next day. I got wonderfully results. I am happy that I am free from applying chemicals on my hair. Trust me.
